Entrance Requirement

1. Education: A high school diploma or its equivalent is not necessary to enroll in and attend one of our classes, workshops, seminars, or conferences, and events.
   
   
2. Age: Minimum age 10 depending on the class, workshop, seminar, or conference. We have had students enroll at age 10 and who were able to successfully complete our courses.
   
   
3. A computer and an internet connection are strongly encouraged for all students unless extenuating circumstances require that a special waiver is approved. A computer and an internet connection allow students to access faculty and each other through email and discussion forums. They will also receive regular email messages from the University’s CEO and YBU Team. This is the key way YBU will keep in touch with its worldwide student body. Various bulletin boards may also be available, listing internship opportunities, job placements, etc.

For most situation, there is no specific order in which you must take a class, workshop, seminar, or conference.

The guiding rule is to take those courses which most interest you when they interest you and stick with the topics until you have mastered them. Learning is best when interest is high. Therefore, follow your interest. It will usually lead you to every piece that is important for you to absorb to become an effective leader. 

We sometimes offer limited partial scholarships, if financial aid is available, for our classes, workshops, seminars, or conferences, and events.

Groups of three or more taking the same YSU course (does not include events) at the same time will receive a 10% discount off from each of their course fees. This is to encourage people to team up and grow together. When you enroll, simply mention the fact that you are part of a group, list the names of the other members in your group, request the 10% course discount and state whether or not you will be sharing any course materials.

1. If you work, please check with your employer. Many employers are willing to contribute toward the tuition of courses which will enhance employees’ creativity, work ethics, productivity, and home life.
   
   
2. You may contact YSU for whatever assistance they may be able to offer at the time of enrollment.  However, we have limited needs-based scholarships.
